University of Neuchatel, Department of Geography

The Institute of Geography at the University of Neuchâtel is a research and teaching centre.

The IGG offers a Bachelor’s programme and a Master’s programme entitled “Geography of Major Contemporary Challenges”. It participates in the French-speaking Swiss doctoral programme “Research Dynamics in Geography”. The IGG provides specialized training in human geography, but also offers foundational training in physical geography and climatology at the bachelor level.
