Research and Practice for Sustainable Development

Major benefits for sustainable development can be gained from combining research and services for development cooperation (e.g. project implementation, economic assessments) at the same institution and from deploying persons with double-competency to both research and services. Dr. Jasmina Saric analysed benefits of combining research and services for development cooperation and how such double-competencies can be strengthened at Swiss and African research organisations.
